What type of finance for auctions are available in the UK?


Most auctions will expect you to exchange contracts on the day of purchase and will require a non refundable deposit of at least 10% of the purchase price. The remainder funds are general contractually obliged to be paid within 28 days of the auction.

Bridging Finance is useful for auctions as these loans can be paid out within a week or less in some cases. Bridging loans are used as short term finance and will take either your current residence or the property you are buying as security for the loan. We offer a range of bridging loans from the whole of the market to assist with your auction purchase.

If your purchase is a Buy to let or commercial property, we have a range of Commercial Mortgages and Buy to let Mortgages which offer a longer term finance solution and a lower cost. If you are planning to live at the property we have a range of standard mortgages for auction properties.
